Verdict
Though now seven, MAJOR VALENTINE (NAP) arguably achieved a new career-best here last month when scoring by four lengths. Regular pilot Kate Leahy can still claim the full 7lb and John O Shea’s sprinter can record a fourth course win. Doc Sportello drops down a grade having just come off worse in a bunch finish last time at Windsor. Atalanta's Boy has won his last two in the style of an improver while Smokey Lane has eased to a mark from which he should be capable of winning. Just Glamorous was due to run yesterday at Salisbury.
