In depth

Verdict

DOUBLE ROSS (NAP) is only a pound higher as he bid for back-to-back victories in this and 8lb better off with runner-up Loose Chips. Theatrical Star was fourth that day and also behind Charlie Longsdon's runner at Sandown in April along with Forgotten Gold, No Duffer and Fox Appeal. Alvarado needs extreme distances and is on a long losing run while Cloudy Beach has a lengthy absence to overcome. Plenty of the others have won around here with Lamb Or Cod probably the pick of that group.
