In depth

Verdict

Elgin had good form in novice company last season but may be on a stiff enough mark on his handicap debut, though is still preferred to stablemate Minella Charmer. Utility has won his last two at Worcester but this is a big step up in class. Chelsea Flyer is better than he showed on his reappearance but the returning Misterton has done all of his winning on sharp tracks so far. OLDGRANGEWOOD made big strides over fences last season but reverts to hurdling off a much lower mark so has to be of interest with fitness unlikely to be an issue. I'm A Game Changer was let down by his jumping on his reappearance at Market Rasen but still wasn't beaten far and, with that run under his belt, looks a danger.
