In depth

Verdict

Dvinsky is taken to get the better of Pure Imagination and Arctic Desert in a competitive finale to the card. The selection does have a penalty for his recent success at Pontefract when he beat Geojimali, but the return to 7f should suit and with ground conditions in his favour he has an obvious chance. Pure Imagination put up a sound effort at Musselburgh last time when he finished a close fifth behind Royal Dignitary. A reproduction of that effort tonight would give him a chance of troubling the judge. Artic Desert is turned out quickly after finishing third behind Samuel Charles at Kempton. However, he may be better over an extra furlong these days so he is passed over. Big Bradford may have needed the run on his seasonal reappearance last time so he could go well at a price, but Divinsky is in good form and gets the vote.
