Verdict

RASH MOMENT was a winner last time out under Tony McCoy and should take victory here. The selection has hit some decent form recently running well last time out and it was no coincidence that it took the champion jockey to help him score. The gelding is to be ridden by McCoy again today and he will need similarly strong handling if he is to follow up. Imminent Victory should be the closest contender to the selection. The six-year-old's sole win in 12 over jumps came in a 2m 2f chase last November but the evidence of his last staying-on effort and the two in hurdles races which preceded it, is that he may need this slightly stiffer test now. Eight-year-old Sula's Legend also looks like challenging after finishing second last time out and the gelding looks capable but will need to avoid blunders if he is to make a serious challenge. Conny Nobel is a course winner but failed to follow up on that victory last time out, making too many errors and eventually being pulled up. So, in a poor handicap chase we side with Tony McCoy and Rash Moment.
