Verdict
Colmar Supreme, Balaian and John Keats are the three to consider here with preference for the first named. Balian has had two outings and showed improved from to run a good third at Sandown last time. If further improvement follows he must be in the shake-up. John Keats represents John Gosden and he will be sharper for a debut run behind Sir Xaar at Doncaster. He will find this easier and an improved performance can be expected. Colmar Supreme has been steadily improving and ran an excellent race to be third at Bath last time. He tried to make all the running but having been headed, kept on in game fashion to be beaten only a length. His represents the most solid form and he looks the most reliable proposition here. Colmar Supreme is the selection.
