Verdict
Having found one too good in each of his two starts this term Camaraderie deserves to win a race of this nature. However, the son of Most Welcome may again have to settle for second place with Lord Brex a confident selection. John O'Shea has his team in good heart at present and the seven-year-old, who comes here on the back of a good second to Hugo De Perro in a better race than this at Carlisle last time can add to an earlier win at Taunton. Devote lost no caste in defeat behind Brady Boys last week and should again be thereabouts. The remainder make limited appeal.
