    Verdict

Martin Pipe's Hever Road has shown enough in two starts over hurdles to suggest that neither trip nor ground will be a problem for him today and he is preferred to Dusty Bandit and Marjina. The selection has been placed in both starts, latterly when chasing home Darkness over 2m5f in soft ground at Plumpton, and a reproduction of earlier efforts should suffice. Paul Nicholls saddles two runners with Dusty Bandit, the mount of Ruby Walsh, preferred to the once-raced Ho Ho Hill. Harry Potter has claims on the pick of his form but has a long absence to overcome and of more interest may be Paul Keane's ex-French gelding Latzod'alm who should be better suited by the underfoot conditions than most of these. Marjina is more exposed than most of these but she has been a consistent performer and is entitled to again be thereabouts. However, Hever Road has an obvious chance and is hard to oppose.
