In depth

Verdict

Bal Mal landed a hat-trick with a victory at Musselburgh last time but won by only a neck and the handicapper is catching-up. He’s also upped in class today along with Alba Del Sole but Zulu Zander has been thereabouts in this grade recently and SECRETFACT should be spot on now after a couple of recent outings. The latter was winning a Class 4 sprint off a 6lb higher mark last autumn and Malcolm Saunders’ charge could make a bold bid in this. Tabaahy will likely be thereabouts once again while Prince of Rome is looking to take advantage of a much lower mark back on the Turf today.
