Verdict

PLEASURE GARDEN shrugged-off a 6lb rise for an earlier win to score at Catterick with plenty in hand. Today’s penalty may not be enough to prevent the hat-trick and Sir Mark Prescott’s charge is preferred to Gold Standard. The latter has been in the mix since scoring under today’s apprentice at Wolverhampton back in March while Barrier Reef wasn’t beaten far when only fourth at Chelmsford last time. Gibraltarian finished closer at Lingfield recently and Up The Aisle showed improvement at Salisbury on her handicap debut.
