In depth

Verdict

This is a weak contest by the track’s usual standards. NELL’S BELLS’ penalty for winning at Wetherby is largely negated by Peter Kavanagh’s claim and, despite a modest effort last time at Sedgefield, it will be disappointing if Donald McCain’s mare can’t concede weight all round. Pure Theatre, who hinted at ability in bumpers and is a half-sister to six winners, looks the danger ahead of Oakley Dancer, a half-sister to two winners, and Internet Biddy.
