Verdict

Not many of these arrive in form and Ballycross was engaged in the 4.00 at Warwick yesterday. Don Herbager is preferred to Achille of Venetia Williams’ two runners but Checkitout makes more appeal, despite top weight. Domaine De L'Isle is ridiculously well handicapped nowadays but he is giving 18lb to the less-exposed DOCK ROAD, who has been pretty consistent over fences and came up against a progressive sort when second at Taunton latest.
