Verdict
Moorlands Again has performed well in his two starts over fences, and was far from disgraced when trying to give weight away to the useful Young Ottoman at Plumpton last time, so is sure to play a big part here. However, marginal preference goes to Shardam, who followed a win at Fontwell with an excellent fifth in the Great Yorkshire Chase at Doncaster last time. He should find this company much less testing and is fancied to score here. Master Ride chased home One Knight on his chasing debut at Exeter, but a bigger threat should come from Another Moose, who was better than all of these over hurdles and should strip a good deal fitter than when well beaten at Exeter on his first start in nearly two years.
