        Verdict

        Gus De Bois seemed to benefit from the re-fitting of blinkers when winning at Plumpton last time, and while he is not the most reliable of characters, the same can be said about many of his rivals. Mark Equal would have finished second to Hitman at Warwick on his chasing debut, but for falling at the last, and that sort of form would give him a chance with a clear round. Greyton would have a very good chance if reproducing the form of his latest start, but that was nearly two years ago and he has clearly had a problem since. It might be worth taking a small chance with Lambrini Gold, who was overcoming a lengthy absence himself when well beaten at Ayr last month, but was very progressive a couple of years ago and should come on a good deal for that run.
