In depth

Verdict

This is a moderate finale to a decent days racing and what can only be a tentative vote goes to the in-form Try, who is taken to complete a four timer and gets the vote ahead of River Tigris and Just Reuben. The last mentioned has a nice racing weight for his reappearance and lack of a recent run need not be of too much concern given the form of Robert Alner's runners. Gumley Gale should come on for his reappearance run at Wincanton earlier this month but needs to, while Woodview has slipped to a decent mark but is hard to back on recent evidence. David Pipe's River Tigris has shown a respectable level of form this term and warrants respect but Try has solid claims on recent form and is taken to win again.
