In depth

Verdict

Got To Be Cash is returning to his best and should be capable of beating Montara and Serramanna. Mark Brisbourne's six-year-old had shown very little this season until chasing home Ben Kenobi at over course and distance last time. He was successful here last year off a much higher mark and looks the pick of the weights today. Montara landed a weak Hamilton contest in July but had his limitations exposed when well beaten at Tramore next time. He may need to drop a few pounds before winning again but may be capable of reaching the frame. Serramanna was shade unlucky not to have made it two wins in a row when hampered at Lingfield last time. She still looks on a decent mark and should be involved in the finish. Of the others Icannshift is in good form at present and is another to consider for each-way purposes, but our idea of the winner is Got To Be Cash.
