        Verdict

        Lady Karr makes her handicap debut off what appears to be a favourable mark but lack of a recent run is of concern for Mark Johnston's filly and a safer bet may be Donastrela, who is preferred to Go Green. The last mentioned has more to do than when landing a weak seller over course and distance last time, even in receipt of weight all round, and is probably best passed over today. Tony Carroll's Saucy has yet to prove her effectiveness over today' strip and of more interest may be John Gosden's Shastye, who takes a drop in class having contested a Listed race at Yarmouth on her most recent start. Safirah has been given a chance by the handicapper but Mark Brisbourne's yard has yet to really hit top form and a bigger threat may come from Bubbling Fun, who was not beaten far on her return to turf at Leicester recently. The vote though goes to Andrew Balding's Donastrela, who stepped up on her reappearance effort when a close third behind Cantrip at Bath last time and, with further improvement to come, she looks worth a bet.
