      Verdict

Look of Eagles and Welsh Touch both have claims on their first start in a handicap following wins in maidens at Brighton and Redcar respectively but a safer option looks to be Music Teacher, who is preferred. The selection, the winner of a Lingfield maiden on her second start, made an encouraging return in a Bath handicap last time when a staying on third behind Folga suggesting that today's slightly longer trip would suit. Zimbali has a nice racing weight and Milton Bradley's sprinters are always worth a second look but the daughter of Lahib has given little sign of optimism in recent spins, while at the other end of the handicap Gennie Bond may want a softer surface. The lightly raced Tapa is another worthy of a mention but Music Teacher holds solid claims following her reappearance effort and is preferred.
