Verdict
AVOCADEAU (NAP) has performed perfectly respectably on both starts this term and rates a solid option despite conceding weight all round. A fair Newbury third last time over 1m4f, he now drops to the trip over which both career successes have been achieved and he does enjoy the good ground. If I Were A Boy ran as if in need of the race on her Lingfield reappearance and looks the main danger with that run under her belt as she was an improved and consistent mare last term. Prim And Proper is hard to assess moving into unknown territory trip-wise and Ballyglasheen is much more interesting. A good-quality handicap hurdler, he ran a cracker when fourth in the Swinton Hurdle last time and has to be noted on this first run on the level since the summer of 2013.
