      Verdict

      ARC CARA couldn't handle the odds-on Spangled at Lingfield last time and is no world-beater but he's unlikely to get a better opportunity than this. Bleu Astral began his career with a very good run at Thirsk in September and was a short-priced favourite on his next two starts but ran moderately. He was beaten a very long way over hurdles a couple of weeks ago and is best watched for now. It's difficult to drum up much enthusiasm for the remainder though Anna Dolce should improve for her initial run on Polytrack at Lingfield.
