Verdict
EDWARD ELGAR was in a decent run of form before finding 1m6f beyond him at Nottingham. He may be good enough in a very poor contest. Teide Peak's last victory was in a Wolverhampton seller while Nora Batty ran poorly on that track when last seen in February. Lady Percy is out of form and could do with some rain and Bernisdale hasn't won on the Flat for over two years. The veteran Captain Oats has won once in 38 starts but still has to carry top weight.
