Verdict
Torrens, Just Do It and Scale The Heights look the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the confident vote goes to Torrens. The selection was a fair fourth on his debut behind Dicktatorial, He is sure to have learnt from the experience and with the step up in trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Just Do It rates the main danger he showed improved form when second behind Bayeux De Moi last time and has definite place claims but he lacks the scope of the selection and for that reason he is opposed. Scale The Heights is another worthy of respect he is from a yard that is beginning to find its form and although this well bred sort has been slightly disappointing of late it would be no surprise if he was to show improved form here. Of the remainder Maktu showed a glimmer of ability on his debut and is another sure to improve but in a race where the market could give plenty of clues for the winner we return to Torrens.
