        Verdict

        This race normally produces a decent winner and Chicken Soup can confirm a good impression on the all-weather to see off Mister Genepi and Benedict. Jamie Osborne's charge ran in a fair Lingfield maiden last week and while he perhaps hasn't lived up to the hype that his trainer bestowed upon him, he is at least straight and fit. Mister Genepi sets the benchmark off a mark of 86. Capable of handling any ground, he has a live chance if handling the track. Benedict is well related to a number of Epsom specialists, most notably his sire, the 1997 Derby winner Benny The Dip. Easy to back on debut, the market is watched here. Atlantic Story is sure to be popular in the Godolphin silks. Anything he achieves here is a bonus. Eltizaam's trainer is in much better form of late and this is slightly easier than an earlier Newmarket assignment. Patronage looks precocious enough on breeding and his first effort can be discounted as he was slowly away. Chicken Soup gets the verdict in a race that looks sure to throw up plenty of winners.
