      Verdict

      Baileys Derbyday went close in a lower grade at Yarmouth last week and is preferred to stablemate Love Is Golden. Sonning made a winning return at Beverley but is upped in class and distance and SET POINT will find this easier than his latest task. The latter never figured in a conditions race at Newbury on his reappearance but the maiden winner goes handicapping for the first time with this longer trip likely to suit. Alpine Stroll also makes his handicap bow while Classic Lord won twice over a mile last year.
