Verdict

Adrian Keatley is a rare visitor to the UK but his horses are running well and CAFFE MACCHIATO was very impressive on his handicap debut at Navan and can defy a 9lb rise. Charlie Appleby's horses are flying so the lack of a run shouldn't pose a problem for Being There, a Newmarket maiden winner making his handicap debut. Vale Of Kent has been in excellent form on the all-weather and makes his debut on Turf while Port Swtan was running very well at the backend of last season and got his reward when reappearing to score at Newmarket. Dragons Tail gained his only victory so far at this meeting last year though that was over the minimum trip. Another Batt ran very well in the Free Handicap yet has surprisingly been dropped 1lb so he could provide the main threat in a tricky handicap. Mr Top Hat was engaged in the 4.35 yesterday.
