In depth

Verdict

AL GHUWARIYAH was out of her depth in the Queen Mary Stakes but she'd shown plenty of promise in her previous starts at Musselburgh and Newmarket and she should appreciate a return to this lesser grade. Anonymous John has the edge of track knowledge having raced here twice and David Evans reaches for the visor in an attempt to glean further improvement. Tom Dascombe sends two to post with Don Sigfredo joined by debutant, Captain Revelation. The latter is a son of Captain Rio and is a full brother to a juvenile winner over seven furlongs. Midlander was second in a fair maiden at Yarmouth whilst Zuzinia is well drawn but has already had five opportunities to break her duck.
