        Verdict

        SWIFT CEDAR hasn't been far away in two recent visits to the Roodee and if he can stay the extra distance, he should have too much class for these rivals. Ocean Applause has placed regularly in recent months and Joe Doyle gets another chance to ride before his claim reduces to 5lb. Skytrain is best watched at present while previous course and distance winner, Topamichi may need a little more give underfoot to be seen at his best. Gabrial The Terror was unable to follow up his victory in a weak event at Brighton while Spanish Plume has raced predominantly on Polytrack of late though the six-year-old ran on well to be second at Beverley last month and has solid place claims.
