Verdict
Stoneacre Lad is preferred to Glasshoughton and Moorhouse Lad in this competitive handicap. The selection is well drawn in stall 2 and he won well last time at Leicester when beating Fisola. He does have a tendency to hang left but that may actually work in his favour on this track and he looks to have solid claims. Glasshoughton won well last time when beating Welcome Approach who has since let the form down with a disappointing effort at Ripon. Moorhouse Lad won well last time when beating King Orchisios at Newmarket. That form has since been franked as King Orchisios won at Haydock last week. He has to be given serious consideration here despite a far from ideal draw. Blazing Heights is game and consistent but is another that has not been helped by the draw and for the winner we will return to Stoneacre Lad.
