In depth

Verdict

Madeeh easily landed the odds at Musselburgh to complete a double but another 6lb rise could scupper the hat-trick bid. The maiden Mr Chua is still climbing the weights but he should be thereabouts again but Donnachies Girl needs to drop a few pounds. Iolani rarely runs two races alike but looks better treated than Ayr winner Ezanak. The three-year-olds hold a strong hand with Yarmouth scorer Sefton Warrior seeking to defy a penalty while this trip has brought about improvement in Deposit. THUNDER KING did well to break his duck at Windsor as he didn’t get the run of the race. He should stay the longer trip around here and his ability to handle the going will stand him in good stead.
