Nashaab can beat the likes of Pango, True Night and Harrison Point who have the form but are all drawn wide here. The selection Nashaab produced a gutsy performance here three weeks ago when battling back after being headed to beat Roman Maze by a short-head. That victory came as no real surprise after a couple of improved efforts of late, and the seven-year-old, who was originally going to have a crack at the Shergar Cup at Ascot, is taken to follow up as he still does not look badly treated compared to his best mark. Any more rain would not be welcome, but even so, he has handled such conditions in the past and should go close from stall six. Pango has been in terrific form, his latest success coming at Goodwood, but he is rising up the weights and is not as well housed as the selection. Nor is True Night in stall 12, although he has the class to be a threat, having won this event for the past two years and been placed on his other three attempts. Harrison Point has also been done no favours but continued his recent run of form at Lingfield, while Zonergem is no stranger to big weights and has started to recapture a bit of his old zest. An interesting contest can go to Nashaab.
