Verdict
Bayberry, formerly with Andre Fabre but now in the care of Henry Cecil, needs to step up on her debut effort for new connections at Salisbury to trouble Silk Fan, who gets the vote over Imperialistic. The last mentioned will be well suited by the underfoot conditions but disappointed at Epsom in June and has not been seen since. Paul Cole's Zietory has every chance at the weights and comes here following a decent second in similar company at Bath last week. However, she has not raced on ground as soft as this for two years and preference is for Silk Fan. The Peter Harris-trained filly was not disgraced in the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood last time and should appreciate the drop in class today. The daughter of Unfuwain had looked progressive prior to that and should not be inconvenienced by the longer trip. Three Secrets is going the right way but needs to improve again.
