        Verdict

        Fast Dancer beat Gabrial The Tiger a nose over 5f here last month and both were raised 6lb. Soie D'leau has an 8lb hike to contend with after scoring at Newcastle while Haydock winner Casterbridge was raised the same amount and was well beaten last time. Bowson Fred remains 12lb higher in the weights than last year's course and distance win and Absolute Champion was beaten at Windsor last time having won at Bath earlier. But KOPTOON is relatively well treated on the Turf allowed to race off a 9lb lower mark than when landing a double at Wolverhampton in June and he gets the speculative vote.
