William Haggas has his string in fine form and ASIAN TRADER makes considerable appeal after displaying abundant promise on his racecourse debut at Doncaster a week ago. He was comfortably beaten by Sir Pedro but his third of 20 after a tardy stalls exit still suggested he's a potentially useful sprinter in the making. Sure to have benefited from the experience, he should be hard to beat having bagged the ideal draw. His main rival appears to be All Or Nothin who showed he'd progressed well from a satisfactory York debut when only beaten a length into third in a Thirsk maiden, though Elegant Girl also showed she was going the right way when putting up an improved showing behind Isola Verde at Redcar last time. However, like Tom Dascombe's Multi Bene, she may do better when tackling handicaps.
