        Verdict

        This trip on quick ground are the optimum conditions for SONG OF PARKES and he's a tentative choice in a tricky finale. He should be spot-on after a couple of runs this term and is just preferred to Red Cape, solid and genuine and hailing from the in-form Ruth Carr team. Stevie Gee only landed a claimer last time and is badly drawn but Steelcut, busy throughout the winter, should get in the shake-up and Boundaries isn't without a chance but would need things drop his way. Meandmyshadow could be the pick of the remainder though would also need luck in-running from stall 10.
