    Verdict

The three with racecourse experience all step up in distance. Port of Leith improved to go close at Hamilton last week and stablemate Key To Power was runner-up at Thirsk on her introduction. But VANGE stayed on strongly to take second over the stiff 5f at Beverley on his debut and Richard Fahey’s colt should stay this extra distance on that form. The latter also runs Gabrial The Wire but Fox Leicester is speedily-bred and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
