The top four, along with GET KNOTTED (NAP), are course and distance winners. The latter didn't run well at Ascot last time but he's won twice around here and reappeared with a fine effort at Haydock so his rider's claim can see him home. So Beloved hasn't won for two years but has generally competed at a higher level than this though his stable is also represented by Salateen, the mount of Danny Tudhope, who was on board when he reappeared after a disappointing spell in Dubai to score under a big weight at Doncaster. Absolutely So won a Group 3 at Haydock last summer and has been dropped a couple of pounds after a poor reappearance at Newmarket while Eastern Impact is having his 37th start and has only raced beyond 6f once. Lualiwa won a Class 3 handicap here in July and is 12lb higher after winning again at that level at Musselburgh in March.
