Byron Flyer ran well at Chester on his reappearance when ahead of Euchen Glen. But only a neck separated that pair when the latter won over 2m at Ascot last year so both should go well again. The Grand Visir’s earlier attempts at 1m6f failed to boost confidence as he attempts today’s trip for the first time so it could pay to stick with the progressive MANCINI. The latter made a winning reappearance and defied a 5lb rise to make all over 2m on the Turf course at Lingfield a fortnight ago when finishing clear of the rest. This is tougher but Jonathan Portman’s charge hasn’t finished improving yet. Good Run has been off the track since last summer and still looks high enough in the weights with the remainder even harder to fancy.
