In depth
Verdict
Simon Walker teams up with David Barron on board Twin Appeal, who is up to this class at his best and hasn't enjoyed soft ground in his last two starts. My Amigo has been unfortunate not to have won in four starts this year but keeps going up in the weights and is drawn on the wide outside. William Easterby should give Our Charlie Brown a good ride and his mount ran well at Catterick after a long break while Gabrial The Tiger is just 2lb higher than when scoring at Chester in September. The latter may just need the run unlike DETACHMENT, who has done well since joining Les Eyre. His recent victory at Beverley was over 1m2f but he was always handy and these races are usually run at a helter-skelter pace. It's over a year since Alfred Hutchinson won and he appears better on Polytrack these days but Heaven's Guest is up to this class and could prove best of the remainder.
