    Verdict

Desert Diamond defied an absence to make a successful reappearance at Wolverhampton where she had Club Tropicana a length back in third. The latter is 1lb better off and both should do better over today's trip with the winner looking the more likely of the pair to take this. However, AKVAVERA progressed steadily in her first campaign and made a very promising reappearance over a trip that looked too short at Epsom where she had to use up early pace from a wide draw. She gets the vote though the remaining trio at the bottom of the handicap are all capable of a big run.
