Verdict
Involved held off Scofflaw in a lower grade here two weeks ago but the runner-up is now 3lb better off and it’s anyone’s guess as to whether the winner will handle this easier surface. Conditions won’t bother GOSSIP COLUMN, a regular here and a winner at York and Beverley this year. He’s probably high enough in the weights at present but the drop back in trip might help. Global Gift could also do with some help from the handicapper but looks the pick of the remainder ahead of the selection’s stablemates Restorer and Central City.
