Verdict

Overhaugh Street beat the Koukash trio Gabrial The One, Angel Gabrial and Heart Of Soul over 2m here four weeks ago but Richard Fahey’s three-year-old has a chance of reversing that form on today’s terms. Well Funded has won twice over this trip this year on ground with some give but has finished last in both previous tries in this higher grade. Lucky Lover Boy won over hurdles in the spring but might need this and Seeusoon has also had a break. We’ll take a chance on RAVENOUS, who is probably more consistent than form figures would suggest. He saw too much daylight last time at Salisbury and is now 5lb lower than when scoring over track and trip just over a year ago with Thomas Greatrex taking off a further 5lb. Buriram and the maiden Wolf Prince are also worth a second look.
