A decent maiden to begin proceedings on day three of Chester's August meeting with several likely types in opposition. Among those with claims are Rye N Dry who has the pick of the draw in stall one, Mark Johnston's Royal Aura from the next door stall and Jay Gee's Choice from the in form Mick Channon stable. However, this should really lie between Desert Lord and Stressless. The latter, trained by Barry Hills, confirmed the promise of his debut run when chasing home Desert Destiny and Rainwashed Gold in a hot Newmarket maiden. He will be tough to beat but slight preference is for the Sir Michael Stoute-trained representative. The son of Green Desert improved for his first start when chasing home the impressive Kentucky King at Doncaster in the soft. Likely to be more at home on this faster ground and with Kieren Fallon, who rides Chester better than any other jockey, back in the plate he gets the TEAMtalk vote.
