In depth
Verdict
With only the six runners set to face the starter here the draw should not be of any great significance. Alan Berry's Caught Out appears to be totally out of his depth judged on admittedly limited evidence to date, as does the more exposed Willheconquertoo but chances can be made for all the other four runners. Mark Polglase said after No Time had won the nursery on the opening day of York's Ebor meeting that he would give his charge a bit of a break. Ten days hardly represents time off so the likelihood is that the son of Danetime has been thriving at home since his surprise success on the Knavesmire. Flying Express, who showed plenty of promise on his debut, made the most of his high draw to decisively land the odds in a minor event at Ripon last time. This represents a step up in class though. The doubly-penalised Monsieur Boulanger has arguably the best form on offer having chased home The Bonus King in the Woodcote Stakes and finished a six length eighth of 24 in Newbury's Weatherbys Super Sprint but Richard Hannon's horse has less improvement in him that Sir Michael Stoute's Tug Of Love and it is the last mentioned that gets the TEAMtalk selection. The son of Halling overcame greenness to open his account at the first time of asking in a Newmarket maiden last month. With plenty of improvement to come he should take all of the beating.
