        Verdict

        Richard Fahey runs four though both recent Ripon scorer Growl and Powerallied, who won this in 2017, finished behind the winner Bossipop in last year’s renewal. Fahey also runs Brian The Snail and Gabrial The Saint, who beat Abel Handy here in June before the latter finished behind ANGEL ALEXANDER at this venue. Tom Dascombe’s charge won by six lengths on that occasion and looks progressive enough to go close again despite a rise in the weights but the likes of Watchable, Lord Riddiford and Peggie Sue haven’t had much luck with the draw.
