JACK DILLINGER was having his first start since May when returning to maiden company at Gowran last month and just missing out. Joseph O’Brien’s charge will have come on for the outing and can go one better. Rakhine State showed a big improvement at Navan last time but that was late last year and he’s having his first start since while Montys Angel and Deburrafield have suffered narrow-margin defeats in maiden hurdles in the past and both could go well. Lill Smith has been beaten in bumpers recently but wasn’t disgraced on her earlier hurdling debut at Kilbeggan earlier.
