Dawn Shadow ran in decent bumper company after her Downpatrick victory and will have come on for her hurdling debut at Galway. Fintara found the minimum too short at Limerick after a narrow defeat over this trip on the same track. She had given Martello Park 5lb when just beating her to land a Thurles bumper in February and the latter makes her hurdling debut. Sunrise Lady has been in top form during the summer winning a point-to-point then a Sligo bumper but Become Legend hasn't shown much in her four starts over timber. The four-year-old OSCO MOSCO just failed to hold off Creation over the minimum at Tipperary and this trip looks certain to suit so she gets the vote in a stronger than usual opener with a race-fitness advantage over Reine Des Pres. Robert Tyner's mare scored between the flags in March and almost made a successful debut over timber at Navan the following month when caught right on the line.
