In depth

Verdict

Future All Star has only shown modest ability in four starts over fences and his one success over hurdles came on very heavy ground. Marathon Leader finished runner-up to Harold's Cross over 2m1f at Killarney but was beaten much further by that winner over tonight's trip at Tipperary last week when winning point-to-pointer Hugbensin was in front of him. AMERETTO SON has won once in 19 starts over fences but has slowly been dropping in the weights and ran his best race for some time in a big field at Punchestown last month. That should be good enough in what looks a moderate contest.
