Verdict

Mags Mullins has won this twice in the past five years so don't rule out a big run from her newcomer Stormy Oscar. Gordon Elliott also runs a newcomer in Incas Article but experience may count here and FITZCARRALDO fits the bill. Andrew McNamara's charge showed he was ready to win soon with a very good run behind Clouded Thoughts over this C&D in April when the ground was very quick and should build on that and gain his first success. Ontheground was beaten a long way into third in a huge field at Punchestown last month but that was a stronger race than this and a big effort is expected. Tellherimhere made a promising debut on ground with some give at Limerick but finished tailed off in much quicker conditions at Wexford subsequently.
