In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins had four winners at this fixture last year starting in this and GELEE BLANCHE can get the yard off to another successful meeting. She showed little on her bumper debut but looked a future staying hurdler when a close third at Galway and today's conditions will play to her strengths. Song Of Earth has to concede her 12lb as he's carrying a penalty for a bumper victory which was gained on heavy ground. His two runs over timber have been on good going and he's expected to do better. Petibonome fell on his debut between the flags and though finishing first past at Lismore at Lismore in March was disqualified for taking the wrong course. Feelgood Island came in for strong support at Tramore last month but looked as though a longer trip was needed while It Could Be You gained his Fairyhouse bumper victory via the stewards.
