Verdict
RETURNTOVENDOR was in tremendous form earlier this year, winning three times including here and in a much better handicap at Fairyhouse in April. He's shot up the weights but ran very well on his reappearance a year ago and hopefully will be ready for this. Peace N' Milan is another returning from a long break having completed a double in the spring though he's never run beyond 2m4f. General Principle proved himself a very smart staying chaser last season winning a Grade 3 over this trip at Limerick before a fine effort in the Irish National. He's 9lb lower back over timber and, with his rider claiming 7lb, has to be greatly respected. Ask Nile won a maiden hurdle here in February and made a successful debut over fences at Killarney before taking on better company. He's another back on a lower hurdles mark and should get involved. Folsom Blue has only run once over hurdles in the past five years and has changed stables though Jack Kennedy's presence in the saddle suggests he could be ready for this. Westerner Point completed a double over fences around this time a year ago but also scored over timber at Cork in March and is a massive 20lb lower.
